Michael Holley Bids Boston Adieu
Boston Globe sportswriter Michael Holley writes his farewell column for the Globe readers today, as he is moving to Chicago to write for The Tribune.
I'll miss his style and take on the Boston sports world. And since Boston is a city with a rather infamous racial history, it's worth noting that, as far as I know, Holley was the only African-American sportswriter in the Boston media. While I'm not much for the quota system per se, I do think it's time for some more diversity up there.
